Kambo and Bufo are traditional spiritual medicines derived from the natural world, praised for their aid in spiritual self-healing and consciousness-expanding experiences.
Kambo is a Spirit Medicine provided to us from a secretion of the Phyllomedusa Bicolour Tree Frog found in South America.
It is used among tribes throughout the Amazon to treat disease and infections, help with fertility, and provide stamina for hunters by heightening all senses for more clarity, vision, and strength.
In the Western world, Kambo is used to help addiction, PTSD, neurodegenerative diseases, depression, migraines and chronic neuropathic pain, amongst other effects.
Bufo comes from the secretion of the glands found on the Sonoran Desert Toad, and has been used for centuries in Mesoamerica, dating back from 2000 BCE in Olmec, Mayan, and Aztec cultures.
Containing more then a dozen different tryptamine compounds, including Bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT (5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine), it’s considered the strongest entheogen on the planet.
SPMI (Somatic Plant Medicine Integration) Therapy is a great way to truly ground your plant medicine experience.
The healing experiences you get from plant medicines do not end with the ceremony. Often times, 4-6 weeks after a ceremony, there is a feeling of “back to normal” or that the ceremony “buzz” is gone. This is where the “real” work starts, and we enter the stage of Integration.
How we proceed with integrating our learning from the plant medicine ceremony, the application of the new insights and perspectives we receive, will ultimately decide what we take with us from our experience.
A Somatic Integration session is a great way to re-activate the connection without needing to go to another plant/spirit medicine ceremony.

About Marko Love
Marko Love, an International Association of Kambo Practitioners (IASP) member, completed his primary initiation into the practice with Bufo in 2020.
Marko’s journey towards healing began in response to his own traumatic experiences at a young age. He initially sought help within the Western medical system. Unfortunately, this route, rather than offering healing, inadvertently precipitated several years of health complications.
In a fortunate twist of fate, Marko’s adoptive Uncle, a respected Taita, belongs to a Colombian shamanic tradition steeped in the wisdom of plant medicines. It was within this nurturing environment that Marko finally found the healing he had been seeking.
